The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is a member of the UN Economic Commission for Asia and Far East now UNESCAP and non-regional developed countries. In today’s time, ADB Bank has 67 members, out of which 48 are from Asia and Pacific, currently both USA and Japan have 552,210 shares. Both of them have the largest share of the share which is 12.756 percent of the total.

The HQ of this bank is located at 6 ADB Avenue, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines and its Representative Office is located all over the world. ADB Bank has about 2,400 employees who are from 55 countries out of its 67 representative countries and more than half of the employees are from Philippines.

The highest policy-making body of ADB Bank is the Board of Governors, which is made up of one representative from each member country. In return, the Board of Governors chooses 12 members from their group as the Board of Directors and their assistants. Out of these 12 members, 8 members are taken from regional members Asia Pacific while others are from non-regional members.
